WCPW’s on-screen General Manager Adam Blampied commented: “12 months ago, WCPW held its first tapings in a warehouse in Newcastle with a broken roof. Back then the idea of us doing a wrestling promotion was a very silly idea. 12 months later… it is still a very silly idea. But we are still here.

For our anniversary show, Newcastle was the only choice. We started here, we operate from here, and so many of us call this beautiful city our home. We wanted Built to Destroy to be a celebration of the last 12 months and a reflection of WCPW as a whole, and with a fantastic card built around some of the greatest UK talent on the circuit right now, we think we’ve done both.”
